Being at a high altitude Himalayan Range, the area is prone to weak/zero mobile phone connectivity. BSNL service works better than others.
Internet connectivity is not available at all, so please be prepared to be digitally cut off.
Prakriti is easily approachable from the main road. Free parking is available.
Some dishes in the menu have seasonal availability and therefore may not always be available.
Most dishes from the Garhwali menu need advance order of atleast a day.
We stock bottled water, however we encourage guests to consume the natural water that we provide at the hotel. It’s tastier, healthier, environment friendly and it’s FREE. Try to carry your own bottles and refill with us.
We do not provide tea/ coffee maker in the room and only an electric kettle for warm drinking water. Drinking water is also provided in air tight flasks.
Power backup is available for limited hours only.
For guests proceeding to treks to higher altitude (Gaumukh/ Tapovan etc), its best to acclimatize yourself for at least a day before heading up. Some of these need prior permissions.
Tourist traffic during peak summer seasons/ unexpected showers can delay travel times, therefore its best to keep your itinerary flexible.
Road travel in the mountains can be exhausting. Carry on at a pace that allows you to enjoy the journey. Once at the destination, give yourself time to relax and slow down before setting out for the next leg of road travel.
Lastly, we urge all to travel and stay responsibly. Mountains are vulnerable to pollution. Try not to leave behind plastic/ non-biodegradable waste. Either dispose them off responsibly or bring them back with you to the plains for correct disposal.
